Our event made the first page of the Boulder Daily Camera, Monday September 13.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those displaced by war, persecution, or intolerance who have come to Colorado seeking a better and more humane life. Your contribution today helps us make a difference. We are 100% voluntary - all of your donations go to programs.
Colorado Sanctuary was founded in 2021 to help alleviate the challenges faced by refugee and asylee families who have had their lives disrupted and have been displaced from their native countries. The state of of Colorado receives about 2% of refugee arrivals nationally, and most resettle in the Denver metro. Others end up in Colorado Springs, Greeley and Fort Morgan, where there are refugee resettlement agencies.
Colorado Sanctuary is a volunteer organization that produces events and campaigns to financially-support various agencies that resettle or work directly with resettled populations. We also organize volunteer actions you can get involved in.
Gregg Eisenberg volunteered with the Ecumenical Refugee Society for several years, picking up refugee and asylee families as they arrived at Denver International Airport and bringing them to their new homes. Now that the flow of refugees is radically increasing, Gregg feels called to help provide aid and support for this vulnerable community in this international crisis once again.
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
